Abstract

Based on molecular phylogenetic studies, the generic name Lasiobema (Korth.) Miq. (Fabaceae) is a synonym of Phanera Lour. Therefore, Lasiobema roxburghianum (Voigt) I.M. Turner is here recognized as Phanera roxburghiana (Voigt) Bandyop., Anand Kumar & Chakrab., comb. nova.
