Abstract

Borneosphena fouquei gen. nov. et. sp. nov. is described from the is land of Borneo. The newly discovered genus mostly resembles Cryptobrachys Kaszab, 1941, Cryptostenophanes Kaszab, 1941, Falsobates Kaszab, 1941, Malaysphena Bečvař & Purchart, 2008, and Xantusiella Kaszab, 1941. A differential diagnosis is presented.
