This updated checklist of Marchantiophyta (liverworts) and Anthocerotophyta (hornworts) of Togo was compiled from the literature, from herbarium and recent collections. A total of 56 species including three infraspecific taxa of liverworts and hornworts are recorded for Togo comprising 55 liverworts and one hornwort in 15 families and 29 genera. 14 species are newly reported for Togo.
