Two years ago, Invasive Plant Science and Management (IPSM) was accepted into the Thomson Reuters collection of journals that are included in the annual Journal Citation Reports (JCR). For the first time in 2013, IPSM has received an Impact Factor of 0.982. This is a very good showing for a first time journal within this particular discipline. Additionally, IPSM ranked in the upper half of the plant sciences category in terms of 5-Year Impact Factor (1.200) and Article Influence Score (0.320). As the journal continues to grow and expand internationally, the JCR metrics should improve and reflect the journal's significance within the scientific community.

The JCR includes the most important and influential international journals. It provides an assessment of a journal's standing in scholarly literature through the objective evaluation of quantifiable, statistical information. The analysis collected in the JCR includes impact and influence metrics and millions of cited and citing journal data.

The editor and the staff at Allen Press would like to sincerely thank all the Associate Editors, reviewers, and authors for their efforts in making the journal a success.
