Under the big data environment, the value of data can be tapped to the maximum. The ability to effectively collect and organize various types of production management and service information can promote the accumulation of industry information, the construction of a knowledge base, and the improvement of comprehensive decision-making capabilities, and realize intelligent management and provide intelligent services. At the same time, in the process of port economic development, port finance has a certain role to play, which can effectively improve its work efficiency. To this end, based on big data analysis, an evaluation of the role of offshore finance in promoting the port economy is proposed. On the premise of estimating cargo throughput, the index is selected to realize the construction of a fuzzy evaluation model. Compared with traditional methods, this paper proposes an evaluation method based on big data analysis for the role of offshore finance in promoting the port economy. The assessment of the role of offshore finance in promoting the port economy is more objective and comprehensive, and has a broad application prospect.
