Abstract

He, C. and Yan, G.J., 2020. Path selections for sustainable development of green finance in developed coastal areas of China. In: Guido Aldana, P.A. and Kantamaneni, K. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Coastal Management, and Marine Science Technology. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 104, pp. 77–81. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.

The study of green finance is not only of great theoretical significance, but also of great policy value. In recent years, green finance has developed rapidly in China's eastern coastal areas. In this paper we made a systematic summary of progress in the field of China's green finance from the perspective of policy design and practices, and find out the factors restricting the development of that finance. On this basis, we explored feasible policy suggestions to further enhance the vitality of the green finance market, which would also help to accelerate the promotion of that finance from developed coastal areas to the whole country.
