(eds.), Advances in Coastal Research: Engineering, Industry, Economy, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 106, pp. 53–56. The ecological environment plays an important role in the process of tourism economic development, and it belongs to the relationship of the unity of opposites, which promotes and restricts each other. With the increasing impact of people's activities, the ecological environment is deteriorating, especially in the coastal zone, which restricts the development of a tourism economy near the coastal zone. Based on this, this paper first introduces the coastal zone management model and the overall framework of the coastal zone management model, then analyzes the management of the coordinated development of the coastal zone ecological environment and rural tourism economy and the application of the coastal zone ecological environment management model in the development of rural tourism economy.
