Energy is the “blood” of national economic development, which will directly affect the development and core competitiveness of social economy. With the rapid economic development of coastal cities, the coastal cities energy consumption is increasing. Among them, the energy consumption of the three major industries is the main component of the total energy consumption, which is also one of the important “bottlenecks” hindering the development of the industry. At the same time, coastal cities have a more developed industrial system. With the low-carbon cities development, the continuous rise and natural disasters of global temperature have occurred frequently. Therefore, we must slow down climate change, which will ensure the human beings development. Therefore, low-carbon cities will become an important part of urban sustainable development. By vigorously promoting low-carbon economy, we can reduce the low-carbon content of coastal city construction. Therefore, this paper first forecasts the three major industries energy consumption in the Bohai Rim region. Based on the industrial energy consumption prediction, we can analyze the indicators of coastal low-carbon cities in the Bohai Rim region. Finally, some suggestions can be put forward.
