Abstract

Xu, F.; Tian, B., and Xu, G., 2020. The shear resistance of making concrete beams under the circumstance of marine environmental damage. In: Li, L. and Huang, X. (eds.), Sustainable Development in Coastal Regions: A Perspective of Environment, Economy, and Technology. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 112, pp. 367-370. Reinforced concrete structure has been widely developed and applied because of its combination of the advantages of reinforcement and concrete. It gives full play to the good performance of reinforcement and concrete. However, under the influence of many external factors, the corrosion of steel bars has become an important factor in its application. There are many factors that cause the damage of reinforced concrete materials, and the Chloride Erosion in the marine environment is one of the main reasons. In this paper, the calculation formula of shear capacity of existing reinforced concrete beams in the marine environment is studied, and the shear capacity attenuation model of reinforced concrete beams is proposed. Secondly, the paper analyzes the corrosive effect of marine environment on concrete, and studies the calculation of bearing capacity of reinforced concrete beams damaged by marine environment. Finally, the anti-corrosion control measures of reinforced concrete materials in marine environment are given.
