Abstract

Eriocampopsis Takeuchi, 1952, is recorded from China for the first time. The diagnosis of the genus and the differences between Eriocampopsis and Eriocampa Hartig 1837, are discussed. Eriocampopsis acuta Wei and Niu, n. sp., from China is described and illustrated. The genus is known only from Japan, Korea, and northern China. A key is provided for the two known species. Eriocampopsis hakusanus Togashi, 2004, is a new synonym of Eriocampopsis subtruncata Takeuchi 1952.
