Abstract

Se describen puparios de dos nuevas especies de Aleyrodidae de América tropical: Tetralicia: dooleyi n. sp. encontrada en el envés de las hojas de Psychotria aubletiana Steyerm., de San Calos, Alajuela, Costa Rica, y Chiriquí, Panamá. Tetralicia cefaloputla n.sp. se encontró en Santa María Zacatepec, municipio de Putla de Guerrero, Oaxaca, en un arbusto no identificado. Estas nuevas especies son incluidas en el grupo annonae. Se ilustran con fotografías las estructuras morfológicas de las especies y se discute la relación con especies cercanas.

Two new species of Tetralicia from tropical America, are described, including Tetralicia dooleyi n. sp. found on the underside of the leaves of Psychotria aubletiana Steyerm. of San Calos, Alajuela, Costa Rica and Chiriqui, Panama; and Tetralicia cefaloputla n. sp. found on the underside of the leaves of an unidentified shrub in Santa Maria Zacatepec, municipality of Putla de Guerrero, Oaxaca. These new species are included in the group annonae. The morphological structures are illustrated with photographs of the species and relationships between the near species are discussed.
