Abstract

The seventh species of Arculatatrachys, A. pomberoi sp. nov. is described based on female and male specimens collected from leaf litter in Paraguay. The new species differs from congeners by the shape of the dorsal cavities and their appendages. A list and a new key to the known Arculatatrachys species are also presented with four new combinations (Arculatatrachys difoveolata (Hirschmann, 1975) comb. nov.; Arculatatrachys similiarculata (Hirschmann, 1975) comb. nov.; Arculatatrachys newtoni (Kontschán, 2010) comb. nov. and Arculatatrachys darwini (Kontschán & Starý, 2013) comb. nov.).
