In Feo and Clark (Auk 127:787–796), we reported that the frequency of the shuttle display was 0.534 ± 0.111 Hz. This value is actually the inverse of the frequency (i.e., the period). The correct value for the frequency is 1.9 ± 0.24 Hz. This mistake does not affect any of the other results or conclusions drawn in the paper. We sincerely regret this error.
