The ICZN continues to perform its key role of ensuring stability in scientific names for animals through the generous financial support of the Lee Foundation in Singapore. This support is administered through the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum at the National University of Singapore. The University also hosts the offices of the Secretariat.

The work of the ICZN is also supported through revenue shares from BioOne subscriptions to its journal, the Bulletin of Zoological Nomenclature.
