Abstract

This work involves establishing the genera Coadnatus Opitz, new genus, Furcadia Opitz, new genus, and Latupusillus Opitz, new genus, and describing new species in the previously established genera Funicula Opitz and Romanaeclerus Winkler. Eight species are described: Coadnatus sakaii Opitz, new species, Funicula albocapilla Opitz, new species, Furcadia sandala Opitz, new species, Latupusillus laculatus Opitz, new species, Romanaeclerus dimidius Opitz, new species, Romanaeclerus gerstmeieri Opitz, new species, Romanaeclerus quadratus Opitz, new species, and Romanaeclerus vitellinus Opitz, new species. The concepts underlying the establishment of the genus category are discussed. Neorthopleurinae Opitz is synonymized with Orthopleurinae Böving and Craighead.
