Abstract

Xylanura oregonensis, a new genus and species of Neanurini from North America is described and illustrated. The new species is a saproxylic form, living in rotting wood and under bark of decaying logs of deciduous trees. Taxonomic remarks and an identification key to the world genera of Neanurini are provided.
