Abstract

New data on the stonefly of the genus Phanoperla Banks, 1938 is provided from Laos. P. laos sp. nov. is described as new to science based on a male specimen from Houaphan Province which is located in the northern part of Laos. Additionally, Phanoperla uchidai Sivec and Stark, 2010 and P. vietnamensis Zwick, 1986 are reported from Laos for the first time.
