Abstract

Zhuo, J. and Hu, Y.L., 2020. Research on safety management performance evaluation of coastal construction enterprises based on performance excellence criteria. In: Bai, X. and Zhou, H. (eds.), Advances in Water Resources, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 115, pp. 345-348. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.

In recent years, the number and probability of safety problems in the construction industry have remained high due to the characteristics of multiple types of work, cross operations and complex personnel structure. As an important component in the field of safety management, safety management performance research is helpful to promote the construction enterprises in coastal areas to change from the traditional external forced safety index management to internal stimulated safety target management. Based on the principle of outstanding performance, the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is used to establish a four-dimensional safety performance evaluation index system for construction enterprises based on human factors, management system, construction equipment and environmental conditions. The structural equation model theory is introduced into the evaluation system to build a structural equation model for safety performance evaluation. Then, AHP is used to calculate the index weight of enterprise safety management performance. The results show that this method can effectively evaluate enterprise safety management performance.
