^**Brenda Molano-Flores is a plant ecologist at the Illinois Natural History Survey, a division of the Prairie Research Institute at the University of Illinois. Her research addresses several topics in plant reproductive ecology and conservation biology. She received her PhD in Botany from the University of Iowa.
^***Janice Coons is a professor emeritus from Eastern Illinois University. Her current research involves reproductive biology for use in listing and reintroduction of rare plant species throughout the United States. She received a PhD in Horticulture and Botany from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
^****David N. Zaya is a plant ecologist at the Illinois Natural History Survey, a division of the Prairie Research Institute at the University of Illinois. His research focuses on plant community changes over time and factors associated with those changes. Also, he conducts work on rare plant species including population genetics, reproductive biology, and demography. He received his PhD in Biological Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
