Abstract

Series of Perreyiella from Mexico and French Guiana resolve association of sexes and extent of color variation for two species. Perreyiella godmani (Cameron 1883), n. comb. (= Perreyiella mexicana Smith 1990, n. syn.), occurs from southern Mexico to Costa Rica. The female and male are described, and color variation from entirely black to partly red is noted. Perreyiella lacourti Smith, 1990, is known from French Guiana, and the female and male are described.
