A new hybrid of the autumnal daffodils Narcissus serotinus and N. deficiens is described for the first time from Seville Province (southern Spain). Seven qualitative characters and 21 quantitative measurements were taken from the hybrid and progenitors. Intermediate and uniparental characteristics were detected. The description of N. xhispalensis enlarges the list of wild hybrid daffodils in the Iberian Peninsula, the center of speciation for Narcissus.
