Abstract

Two new species of eriophyoid mites were found and described from south China: Shevtchenkella wudongensis sp. nov. and Rhinotergum largituberis sp. nov. Both new species infest Juglans regia L. (Juglandaceae) and are vagrants on lower leaf surface of host plants with no particular symptom.
