Abstract

A taxonomic study of the genus Bellatheta Roubal in Korea is presented. Two species, including two new combinations [Bellatheta effecta (Sawada), new combination and Bellatheta myohyangsani (Paśnik), new combination], are recognized and a new synonymy [B. myohyangsani = Nepalota namphoensis (Paśnik), new synonym] is proposed. Bellatheta myohyangsani is reported for the first time in South Korea. A key, a redescription and illustrations of diagnostic characters of Korean species are provided.
