Abstract

Cryptotendipes bullum Song & Wang, sp. nov. from Hainan Island, Oriental China is described and illustrated based on a single adult male. The species can easily be distinguished from its congeners by having a very long and slightly curved bare superior volsella with four apical setae and a prominent gonostylus, with a bulb-like inner projection medially.
