Sedum sinforosanum is a new sedum from the Barranca de Sinforosa, Chihuahua, northwestern Mexico. It belongs to subgenus Sedum L. because of its free petals and sepals and is generally glabrous. It is distinguished from Sedum suaveolens by being many-branched, with smaller rosy-colored rosettes, the absence of bracteoles on the pedicels, petals not circinate, truncate, nectaries bright yellow, ovary pink and with straight styles.

A new species of terrestrial Puya, from the coast of southern Peru is described. Hitherto the only known Puya from coastal Peru is Puya ferruginea (Ruiz & Pav.) L.B.Sm. which can be found growing on Cerro Campana near Trujillo. Herein reported Puya hoxeyi is found over 1200 km to the south growing on steep barren slopes in two small populations north of the town of Ilo in the department of Moquegua. A description and illustrations are provided together with a comparison with the likely close phylogenetically relative species from the “yellow flowered chilensis” group, namely the Chilean species Puya boliviensis Baker and Puya chilensis Molina.

In this second part, two taxa, one Sedum and one Villadia species (Crassulaceae) were found around the Sacred Valley in the Department of Cusco, Perú. (7) Sedum berillonanum from Ayacucho is reported for the first time in the Department of Cusco. Some slight differences in leaf shape are pointed out. (8) Villadia virgata, a species described from Chiquián, Ancash is found in Cusco but plants are somewhat different, though not enough to describe a new variety.
