Jiangsu is located in the Yangtze River Delta and many cities represented by Lianyungang and Yangzhou have coastal resources. Therefore, the coastal area of Jiangsu has unique ecological environment conditions, and its future development potential is huge. In order to promote a sustainable future, through the investigation of the ecological development of coastal sports, this paper finds that the current environmental protection status of coastal sports tourism is not optimistic by means of questionnaire survey and expert interview. This is mainly reflected in the low environmental awareness of employees and tourists, and the insufficient environmental protection of facilities in sports. Using PEST model, it can be found that ecological sports projects in Jiangsu coastal area need to be promoted at the administration level, with emphasis on increasing investment in technological innovation and environmental protection training.
