Abstract

The presence of the black twig borer Xylosandrus compactus (Eichhoff) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Scolytinae) is recorded in the region of Soconusco, Chiapas, Mexico associated with Robusta coffee (Coffea canephora Pierre ex Frohener).

Se registra la presencia del barrenador negro de las ramas del cafeto Xylosandrus compactus (Eichhoff) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Scolytinae) en la región Soconusco, Chiapas, México asociado a café robusta (Coffea canephora Pierre ex Frohener).
